Kwangwoon University (President Yoon Do-young) has been selected for the “High School Education Contribution University Support Program” hosted by the Ministry of Education for the 14th consecutive year (2013–2026).

The High School Education Contribution University Support Program aims to alleviate the burden on college applicants by strengthening the connection between university admissions and high school curricula. It also seeks to restore public trust in college admissions by enhancing the fairness and accountability of the admissions process. Universities are comprehensively evaluated based on:

▲Evaluation Capacity: Securing fairness and enhancing professional expertise.

High School Connectivity: Supporting high school education activities and operating admissions that reflect high school curricula.

Social Accountability: Mitigating the burden of private education and supporting social integration and balanced development.

Having been selected for this program every year since its inception in 2013, Kwangwoon University will continue to receive government funding. The exact amount of the grant will be finalized this coming July.

Over the years, Kwangwoon University has consistently received high evaluations for its systematic education and training programs designed to secure the expertise of its admissions officers. Furthermore, the university was highly commended for maintaining a balanced operation of both student record-based and CSAT-based (Suneung) admissions, in strict accordance with the objectives of the 2015 Revised National Curriculum.

Chung Jae-hwi, Dean of Admissions at Kwangwoon University, stated, "With our selection for this program, Kwangwoon University will continue to ensure fairness in the college admissions process based on the profound expertise of our admissions officers. We plan to fulfill our university's social responsibilities by continuously operating admissions systems that align with the 2015 Revised National Curriculum and by actively supporting high school education."
