* Please make sure to send a scanned copy of your flight ticket to international@kw.ac.kr 2 weeks before the arrival date. Students must arrive in Korea on designated dates for free pickup. (There are two airports – Incheon and Gimpo Airport. Please make sure to arrive at the airport by 2 pm.)

4. Application Procedure

Nomination deadline Official nomination should be sent by a partner university official. Any applicants should consult with their home university officials if they are eligible to apply for our exchange program.
· May 1st for fall semester
· Nov 1st for spring semester
Application deadline Application materials should be collected and sent by a partner university official, not by individual student.
· May 31st for fall semester
· Nov 30th for spring semester
Language requirements English (TOEFL IBT 61, IELTS 5.0, etc.)
or TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) 4 Level
or proof of min. 2 Korean courses completed
Visa requirements D-2-6 Visa

5. Dormitory

Facilities · Room: beds, desks, wardrobes, bathroom, air-conditioner
· Public facilities: washing machine, fitness room, kitchen, seminar rooms, delivery compartment, convenience store
Document Certificate of two doses of MMR vaccination and TB negative result should be submitted in advance.
Note · Students need to bring or buy blankets, pillows and bed spreads by themselves.
· If students arrive earlier than the recommended arrival date, they need to find their own temporary accommodation.

6. Insurance and Additional Information

Terms & Conditions Students are required to join the national health insurance, and will automatically be joined to the insurance when they get an Alien Registration Card from Immigration after arrival. .
Insurance fee Approximately KRW 90,000 per month
Buddy Program Student can apply for Buddy Program (1:1 Mentoring program grouping one Korean student and one international student) within 1~2 weeks after arrival. Further notice will be sent via email.
Visa Make sure to receive your visa prior to arrival in home country, especially students from European countries.
